How do I print my assignment with instructor feedback?
The Comments and Markups panel on the Review Submission History page provides inline comments from your instructor if your instructor chooses to provide them. Click the Download button and choose Download annotated PDF to download your assignment submission with instructor comments. Select Open or Open with to open the PDF. In Adobe Acrobat, click File and choose Print. In the Print pop-up window, click Summarize Comments under Comments and Forms, to include your instructor's comments in your hard copy. Click Print.

Please fix the file and re-attach it OR attach a .zip of the file Cause Normally this error occurs when a file is saved as a Web page and the .html file is submitted to the assignment. Resolution Convert the html file to PDF and resubmit

My assignment will not submit, it is stuck loading
Issue/Question My assignment will not submit, it is stuck loading Cause Internet connection issues or exceeding the maximum file size Resolution The maximum file size is set by the administrator and can vary. If your file is too large you will typically receive an error message. If you are not receiving an error and the submission just keeps loading, please be patient as it can take several minutes to upload depending on your internet connection speed. If your file is too large, try zipping the file, compressing any images, splitting the file into multiple submission, or contact the instructor for an alternate method of submission. If on wireless, try resetting the connection or use a hardwired connection for a faster upload speed.

My course module is stuck loading
Issue/Question My course module is stuck loading. My courses are missing / not showing on the homepage. Please wait while the module loads Cause Certain browser Plugins or Add-ons may cause the course module not to load your course list Resolution Many times, just switching to another browser will resolve the issue as a quick fix / workaround. If the same plugins / add-ons are installed on other browsers, or you would like to resolve the issue in your preferred browser, you will need to disable each plugin and add-on one by one. Check to see if the course list loads between each plugin you disable until you find the culprit.

My Discussion forum says 'No items found'
Issue/Question My Discussion forum says 'No items found', but I know classmates have posted / I have made previous post I cannot find previous post I saved a draft of my discussion post but now I cannot find it Cause The discussion forum display settings are set to display a view that does not contain any post. Resolution Discussion forums have six display views (All, Published Only, Hidden Only, Locked Only, Unavailable Only, and Drafts Only). If you are unable to locate any post, try another view (Show All is recommended). The display option is located in the top right corner within the discussion forum page

Safe Assign Error - Not Logged In Error
Request Description When attempting to access SafeAssign, I receive the following error message "Sorry, we do not think you are logged in to SafeAssign. Your session may have timed out. If you have received this message in error, please contact your system administrator." Environment Blackboard SafeAssign Cause If you get this error and you are logged into Blackboard, it means that the security/privacy settings on your web browser are set up to not allow 3rd party cookies. Resolution You'll need to change this setting to allow 3rd party cookies by following these steps: For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools > Internet Options > Privacy Change the setting to "Low" For Firefox: Click on Tools > Options > Privacy Select "Accept cookies from sites" Select "Accept third-party cookies" Change "Keep until" to "they expire" Safari: Click on Safari > Preferences > Security Change "Accept cookies" setting it "Always"

The file I submitted for my assignment does not display in Blackboard
Issue/Question The file I submitted for my assignment does not display in Blackboard Cause Blackboard will accept almost all file types. However, the inline grading feature can only read a select few (Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), Adobe Acrobat (.pdf), Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx), and Microsoft Excel (.xls/.xlsx)). Resolution Save your file using one of the supported file types in order to view within Blackboard inline grading. Note: Files that are not read by the inline grading tool will not display within Blackboard, but the attachment can still be downloaded and viewed through the appropriate program by the instructor. If you need another submission, you will need to contact your instructor.

When I click on a file in my course, it asks me to login?
Issue/Question When I click on a file in my course, it ask me to login but will not accept my username and password.. Cause This error occasionally happens due to a security setting, specially in Internet Explorer Resolution You will need to turn on compatibility view in the browser settings, visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2536204 for instructions. You can also download the file by switching to another supported browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome.

Completing and Submitting an Assignment [Step-by-Step Example w/ GIFs]
1. Enter the course, and on the left menu click Assignments. 2. Select the assignment you're working on from the list. 3. Read the instructions carefully. For this example: "Please download the syllabus from this course and submit it for this assignment. Type your name in the write submission area and resubmit the file." 4. Your course syllabus will most often be located in the Course Information section, or under Course Documents. We'll navigate there, and click the document link, then click Save in the pop-up dialog box. 5. Now we navigate back to the Assignment's page, and click Browse My Computer. This will open a File Explorer window, and we will now find the document we wish to submit, then click Open to attach it. 6. Finally, we're asked to type our name in the Text Submission field. To do this, click the Write Submission button. 7. Review the instructions, review your work, and once you're satisfied, click Submit to complete the assignment.
