How to Update your Chromebook
Below are instructions for updating your Chromebook: Turn on your Chromebook. Connect your Chromebook to Wi-Fi. At the bottom right, select the time Settings . At the bottom left, select About ChromeOS. Under "Google ChromeOS," find which version of the Chrome operating system your Chromebook uses. Select Check for updates. International Travel - How to Access your Forsyth Tech Account
Due to security concerns, Forsyth Tech blocks all out of country access. Before leaving the country, please fill out the following form: https://its.forsythtech.edu/support/catalog/items/200 If you are already outside of the country, still fill out the above form. You will only be able to sign in on ITS.forsythtech.edu until the form has been completed. Please allow for at least 24-72 hours for the exception to be granted for your account.

Clearing Cache in Google Chrome
1. Click the menu button in the top right corner of your window, then click Settings from the drop-down menu. 2. On the left hand side of the screen, select "Privacy and Security" 3. In the middle of the screen select "Clear browsing data" 4. Make sure the selected tab at the top is "Advanced", ensure the "Time Range" is set to "All time" and finally make sure that "Cookies & other site data" and "Cached images and files" are both checked. Click clear data and the "Clear browsing data" box will close after it's finished. You may need to close out of any open tabs and then reopen them for the changes to take effect.

Academic Works - Scholarship Reference
You will have received an email with an invitation link to create your BlackBaud account. On the Academic Works webpage, click on Sign In and then click References and Reviewers: As seen above, click Continue with your Blackbaud ID and Sign Up. Sign up using the same email address you received the invitation email to. You should now be able to complete your reference.

How to Remove Screencastify
In order to remove Screencastify, visit your Chrome or Edge browser and click on the puzzle piece at the upper right hand corner: The Extensions section, remove Screencastify. If you have multiple accounts signed in (the person icon), you may need to go to each one and look for the extension. If you previously held a WSFCS account, you will not be able to remove the extension, you will need to sign out of the account completely by completing the following: Next to the puzzle piece, there should be an icon, it may have a person or it may have a profile picture. Click on this icon. If the current account is the WSFCS account, simply click Sign Out. If you have multiple accounts, locate the WSFCS in the "Other Profiles section". Click on the WSFCS account and then click repeat the above process of clicking on the icon and choosing Sign out.
