Q: What is my TechLink Username and Password? A: Click here for our guide on finding out your TechID and initial password for TechLink. Q: Where do I go to log in to my account? A: Visit https://techlink.forsythtech.edu/. If you need help resetting your password, click here to follow our guide. Q: How do I access my student email? A: After logging in to TechLink, you'll see a link to your Student Email above the Announcements tab in the center of the page. You can also navigate directly to your inbox by visiting https://email.forsythtech.edu. Q: Where do I go for technical support? A: You can call the ITS Support Center @ (866) 517-3567 or come by our Walk-In desk in Allman Building room 106, located on Main Campus. Q: How do I access my online courses? A: Visit https://blackboard.forsythtech.edu/ and log in with your TechLink username and password. Your courses will be located in the 'My Courses' section on the homepage. Blackboard FAQs
Q: How do I access my online courses? A: Visit https://blackboard.forsythtech.edu/ and log in with your TechLink username and password. Your courses will be located in the 'My Courses' section on the homepage. Q: Under My Courses it says I'm not currently enrolled in any classes? My course isn't showing up? What do I do? A: Your courses won't show up until the first morning of the semester, or the day the course starts if it's a shortened section like an 8-week course. You can check to make sure you are registered by visiting https://my.forsythtech.edu and navigating to Student Planning. Q: Where is the Syllabus? A: All syllabi should be located on the Course Documents page inside each course. Open your course, then check the navigation menu on the left side of the screen for a link to the Course Documents page. Q: Who is my Instructor? A: Your instructor's contact information should be located on the Instructor page inside each course. Open your course, then check the navigation menu on the left side of the screen for a link to the Instructor page. If your course doesn't have an Instructor page, check under Course Information. Q: How do I activate and use my course materials or access code? A: For help activating your code or accessing your course materials, first check the course page in Blackboard. Look for instructions in the Announcements, Course Information, Course Documents, Assignments, or check to see if there is a link for accessing the materials in the left-side navigation pane. If you still can't find the instructions, email your instructor or contact the company's customer or technical support. The ITS Support Center has no administrative access for any outside or third-party instructional materials, but we will do our best to assist you as well. Q: I can't open links to my LMS Assignments (Cengage Brain, SAM, Wiley, Mindtap, Aleks, etc.)? A: Check to see if you have pop-ups blocked. Click here to follow our guide for disabling your pop-up blocker. Q: I can't open documents? A: Check to see if they are downloading instead of opening. Try a different Internet Browser. Check to see if your pop-up blocker is enabled. If you're on a mobile device, try accessing the course on a computer. Q: I accidentally submitted/closed an assignment/test and can no longer resubmit/retake it? Can it be reset for me? A: The ITS Support Center doesn't have the ability to re-open assignments, so contact your instructor ASAP and let them know you need it re-opened for you. It's best to contact them by email. Q: I think the answer to a test question is incorrect, can I appeal the grade? A: If you think you've found a mistake in a test or assignment it's best to contact your instructor with the assignment or test name, the question, the incorrect answer, and what you think the correct answer is. Q: I couldn't get logged in because of an issue with my account and I missed an assignment, what do I do? A: If you have any issues with your TechLink account please contact the ITS Support Center ASAP. If you know or think you will have an assignment due or that you missed an assignment before we were able to assist you, please let the technician know the instructor's name and the course, and ask them to CC the instructor on your ticket.

How to Register for Classes Using Navigate
Prior to registering for classes discuss your course choices with your academic advisor 1. Log into your TechLink Account Techlink.forsythtech.edu 2. Once you are logged into Techlink, click on “Navigate” 3. Click on ‘Planner’, located on the top menu bar (If you have not already, accept the proposed academic plan that you created with your advisor) 4. In the right-hand column choose View/Edit Schedule 5. You are now ready to create your class schedule! In the right-hand side column click choose sections: 6. Find a section that works for you. As you hover over each section a picture of the course will show up in the center calendar making it easy to see if that one will work for you. 7. Click and hold on the section you choose to add to your schedule and drag it to the right and drop it in the calendar. 8. Click and hold on the section you choose to add to your schedule and drag it to the right and drop it in the calendar. To schedule additional courses click “Back to My Planner” on the left top corner. 9. Once you have added all your classes to your schedule click register in the top right corner. (Pay tuition option is not currently available in Navigate.) 10. After completing your registration, you may print your schedule. How to Access Grammarly Premium and install Extension
Visit My Grammarly and log in with your Forsyth Tech credentials. To install the Grammarly application, after logging in, click on the Apps button and choose the app that fits your needs. Note: The browser extension will list the browser you used to visit the page. If you want Grammarly for a different browser, you will need to visit the My Grammarly link in the browser you would like the extension for.
